I. MISSION STATEMENT1. Saint Therese College, Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) is committed to fulfilling the mandate of Jesus “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Mt 28,19-20)
2. Saint Therese College, Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) is committed to God’s infallible revelation in the Bible as affirmed and expounded with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. The goal of all biblical and theological instruction is to glorify God through a transformed life that is manifested by a wholehearted love for God and by service love for others.
3. Saint Therese College , Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) is committed to promoting the missionary endeavour throughout the world. This commitment provides both exposure and experience for students in the diverse opportunities for ministerial service in mission around the world.
4. Saint Therese College , Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) is committed to the preparation of students who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and are marked by biblical and theological knowledge and spiritual growth along with the skills necessary for their future ministries.
5. Saint Therese College , Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) encourages students to grow spiritually in their personal relationship with God, to function of responsibly within the Catholic communities, to engage and witness to the world from a life of faith and integrity.
II. STUDY PROGRAMSSaint Therese College , Faculty of Theology (STC-FT) offers three different programs 1. The Diploma of Theology is a degree program of one year for those seeking further biblical and theological training in preparation for their personal enrichment. 2. The Associate of Art in Theology is a degree program of two years for those seeking higher biblical and theological training in preparation for their Christian life and ministerial service. 3. The Bachelor of Art in Theology is a degree program of three years for those seeking a complete biblical and theological training in preparation for their ministerial service in the Christian church.
III. COURSE REQUIREMENTS 1. Thirty credit hours of coursework are required for the Diploma in Theology 2. Sixty credit hours of coursework are required for the Associate of Art in Theology 3. Ninety credit hours of coursework are required for the Bachelor of Art in Theology

V. GOALSAll students in the STC-FT program will be able to:• demonstrate a general knowledge of the Bible;• evidence a general knowledge of fundamental theology and an ability to support their theological views;• evidence an increasing likeness to Christ as manifested in love for God, love for others;*evidence a bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” (Gal 5:22-23);• evidence an interest and involvement in the local church or other ministries with which they are associated. VI. ADMISSION AND APPLICATION * Admission requirements and application procedures for the STC-FT program are the same as for all programs of study. * Applicants must be at least 18 years of age* Applicants are expected to demonstrate educational background and their readiness for higher study.
VII. CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTSRegular Students* Students enrolled for credit in a degree program are classified as regular students. * Continuation as a student depends on satisfactory progress toward graduation.Non-degree Students* Non-degree students can take courses for credit or for audit.
